The Maui Jim Ho’okipa Reader 2.5 sunglasses are designed to provide excellent visual performance in bright conditions, especially around water. Their polarized lenses effectively eliminate glare caused by reflections from the water and enhance contrast, making it easier to read water conditions and observe the environment while fishing.
They feature a discreet integrated +2.5 reader segment located in the lower part of the lens. This magnification allows clear close-up vision without removing the sunglasses. For fly fishing this is particularly useful to rebuild leaders, thread line through a hook eye or tie on flies directly on the water.
The lenses feature PolarizedPlus2 technology, developed by Maui Jim to reduce glare while improving colour clarity and contrast. This technology also blocks 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.
The MauiBrilliant lens material provides excellent optical clarity while remaining lightweight and comfortable for long periods of wear.
