The JMC Astral Fly Reel is a manual fly reel designed for anglers seeking reliable, straightforward gear for light fly fishing. Its adjustable ratchet drag provides consistent resistance during fish fights while remaining simple to set.
The machined aluminium construction offers strength while keeping overall weight low, improving balance on the rod. The large arbor spool promotes fast line pickup and reduces line memory, enhancing everyday use.
This reel is reversible for right- or left-hand retrieve, allowing anglers to set it up according to preference. It comes with an extra spool and a neoprene protective sleeve for transport and storage.
Two sizes are available:
the #2/4 version weighs approximately 146 g and is perfect for fine fishing with dry flies or light nymphs.
the #4/6 version weighs approximately 155 g and offers a larger line capacity, suited to more versatile light tackle fishing.
