The Guideline Scandi Tips form a complete interchangeable tip system designed to adapt a Scandi line to different fishing conditions.
By simply changing the tip, anglers can adjust the length, weight and, most importantly, density of their setup to present the fly on the surface, just below it or considerably deeper.
The range builds on Guideline's experience with the previous 4D, 4D Compact and ULS systems, featuring refined tapers, improved density transitions and a more supple, low-memory coating.
The tips are pre-looped at both ends for quick changes and feature identification markings for easy recognition.
10’ – 4 g / 63 grains
The 10’ – 4 g / 63 grain is the lightest tip in the range and is specifically designed for lightweight systems.
It is designed for the Guideline ULS+ WF Multi Tip and ULS+ Multi-Tip Kit and can also be matched with a compatible Compact Scandi Body.
Unlike the heavier Scandi Tips, this version features a 20 lbs monofilament core and single-density construction throughout its length.

10’ – 7 g / 108 grains
The 10’ – 7 g / 108 grain provides increased power while maintaining a very compact overall length.
It is particularly useful when a short, responsive setup is required or when D-loop space is limited.
From this model upwards, Scandi Tips feature a 32 lbs low-stretch braided core and various double-density combinations.
Compatible with appropriately matched Compact Scandi Body and Classic Scandi Body systems.

12’ – 7 g / 108 grains
The 12’ – 7 g / 108 grain maintains the same weight as the 10’ – 7 g version but distributes it over a longer tip.
This provides a more progressive transition between body, tip and leader while maintaining a relatively lightweight setup.
Compatible with appropriately matched Compact Scandi Body and Classic Scandi Body systems.

The 12’ – 9 g / 139 grain provides additional weight and turnover power while maintaining a relatively compact length.
It is an excellent choice when more power is required for turning over larger flies or leaders while still keeping the overall system manageable.

The 15’ – 9 g / 139 grain uses the same weight as the 12’ – 9 g version but spreads it over 15 feet.
The additional length creates a smoother, more progressive transition and provides excellent control over the presentation without increasing tip weight.

The 18’ – 13 g / 200 grain is the longest and heaviest tip in the range.
Designed for powerful Scandi setups and double-hand rods, it provides increased length and excellent control.
Its 18-foot profile creates a very progressive transition between the body and leader, while the faster sinking densities allow anglers to efficiently reach deeper water.
