The Guideline Compact Scandi Body is the evolution of the 4D Compact system. Shorter and more condensed than a traditional Scandi body, it is particularly effective on smaller rivers, overgrown banks and wherever space for forming a D-loop is limited.
Its updated taper, optimised length-to-weight ratio and supple, very low-memory coating provide easy casting and excellent shooting performance.
VERSATILE MULTI-TIP SYSTEM
The Compact Scandi Body is designed for use with Guideline Scandi Tips. Recommended tip length and weight depend on the selected body:
18 g / 277 grains — 4.7 m — 10 to 12’ / 4 to 7 g tips
20 g / 308 grains — 4.7 m — 10 to 15’ / 7 to 9 g tips
22 g / 340 grains — 5.0 m — 10 to 15’ / 7 to 9 g tips
25 g / 385 grains — 5.4 m — 12 to 18’ / 7 to 13 g tips
29 g / 450 grains — 5.4 m — 12 to 18’ / 7 to 13 g tips
32 g / 495 grains — 5.6 m — 15 to 18’ / 9 to 13 g tips
Different tip densities can be used to quickly adapt fishing depth and presentation.
COMPACT AND EASY TO CAST
The short, powerful profile loads the rod efficiently with little line outside the rod tip. Lighter versions suit switch and powerful single-hand rods, while heavier models are designed for double-hand rods.
